Saving Lives on the Water. The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that operates more than 30 marine rescue stations along the coast of British Columbia.

Background

Jonathan has volunteered with RCMSAR 33 (Oak Bay) since 2018 as a Search and Rescue Technician. As a fully-funded by donation organization, it’s important to foster strong relationships with donors and the community they serve. To further support the station, DATUM was able to implement an annual fundraising campaign that culminates in a Holiday / End of Year newsletter to update the community and to fundraise.

Support Our Community

We’re compelled to Be Good - and strive to support those doing good things in their community as well. RCMSAR 33 provides a vital function of keeping the seafaring people of Oak Bay safe on the water, and we’re thrilled to help support their Search and Rescue efforts as well as their Annual Fundraising.

“Jonathan has worked on a number of projects for us over the last three years. He has helped manage our mailing lists and has turned our assorted ideas into polished, professional products. He has always been a pleasure to work with, delivering on time and responsive to our feedback—happy to tweak a project until it is just right.

— Catherine Stephenson, Director, Oak Bay Sea Rescue Society
